Israel kills or wounds Palestinian every 90 minutes in Gaza since ceasefire
Since the ceasefire in October 2025, Israeli attacks have killed or wounded a Palestinian in Gaza every 90 minutes, Islamic Relief reports.

Israeli attacks in Gaza
Since the ceasefire announced in October 2025, Israeli forces have killed or wounded a Palestinian in Gaza every 90 minutes on average, according to the United Kingdom-based charity Islamic Relief. The charity reported at least 1,454 deaths and more than 5,000 injuries over the year, including 320 child deaths, roughly one per day.
Official Gaza statistics
Gaza’s Health Ministry recorded 1,471 deaths and 5,189 injuries since the ceasefire, adding that four people were killed and 28 wounded in the past 24 hours. The ministry also noted that Israel has killed at least 74,254 people since October 2023.
Recent incidents
On Thursday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian southeast of Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, and an air strike on a house in central Khan Younis wounded several people, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. In the West Bank, a 13-year-old boy was shot in the foot during an Israeli raid on Yamoun, west of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
Humanitarian impact
Islamic Relief said Israel has used the Yellow Line, marking the area under Israeli military control, to push Palestinians out of 65% of Gaza, crowding the remaining 35% with nearly 2.1 million people. The charity noted that 82% of Gaza’s structures are damaged or destroyed, more than half of health services have shut down, and over 20,000 severely ill patients are denied permission to leave for treatment. It urged world leaders to increase pressure to protect civilians and uphold international law, warning that a ceasefire in name only cannot justify inaction.
